Wanderlust Treehouse

We had an amazing stay at this treehouse! It was extremely comfortable, spotless, and thoughtfully set up. The peaceful surroundings made it the perfect place to relax and unplug. Everything was clean and well-maintained, and the overall experience exceeded our expectations. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

Pretty & cozy-not functional. Great property guide provided. Tight common area. Ample seating outside with easy to use jacuzzi. The ladder bolts are kinda loose and is fixed at an angle so it can be uncomfortable to climb & difficult to get stuff up. No trash can upstairs & uncomfortable sofa bed. The exposed loft lets you hear everything upstairs. Loud & disruptive restroom door. Restroom was nice & clean, enough toiletries & laundry soap provided. Plenty of dishes and pans but no dish rack/drying mat & microwave. No pantry so groceries took up counter space. Minisplit remotes not labeled (2 in the property). Problems with one but hosts were responsive & helpful troubleshooting. Couldn’t fix the downstairs unit & spent a night with one functional heater. Comfy, large beds with nice linens. Bedroom door didn’t fully close but it was fine. A lot of the windows don’t have blinds so the loft is bright in the morning. Overall I wont rebook because of functionality but it’s a cute vision.

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a thoughtful and detailed review, and for highlighting what you enjoyed... especially the outdoor seating, jacuzzi, linens, and overall vision of the space. We do want to clarify for future guests that this property is a treehouse-style tiny home, intentionally designed as an experience rather than a traditional Broken Bow cabin. The layout is compact by design, with the idea that guests spend much of their time enjoying the expansive outdoor patio, surrounding nature, and the unique feeling of being elevated in the trees, which is exactly what many guests love most about it. Regarding the ladder, it is a custom design that lifts up and extends outward for easier climbing and to stay clear of the entry door when not in use. Because it is not fixed, it can feel “loose” or steep if the extension isn’t engaged, but it is working as intended and we do provide a video guide showing how to lift and extend it. We truly wish you had mentioned this during your stay so we could have quickly made that more comfortable for you. Thank you as well for the suggestion about adding an upstairs trash can.. that’s helpful feedback and something we can absolutely improve. As a tiny home, certain trade-offs were made intentionally, including no dishwasher or microwave, to preserve the open layout and overall experience. We do apologize again for one of the mini-splits not operating at full capacity during the last night of your stay; an HVAC technician has since serviced the unit, added refrigerant, and confirmed everything is now working properly. You’re also correct that the loft has abundant natural light... while the sleeping areas do have blinds, the higher windows are purposefully left uncovered to enhance the “in-nature” feeling, as waking up with sunlight and treetop views is a big part of the experience for many guests. We’re truly sorry the functionality didn’t align with your personal preferences, but we appreciate your honesty and your acknowledgment of our responsiveness; this is the first review we’ve received that reflects this perspective, and feedback like yours helps us continue refining both communication and the guest experience. The tree house was awesome. Luckily I took my truck and not my wife’s car. I would strongly advise driving a truck or suv. The roads are gravel. The treehouse was extremely nice. Top of the line. Super clean.

A magical retreat in the trees – unforgettable family getaway! Our stay at this stunning treehouse in Hochatown, Oklahoma, was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we stepped inside, it was clear how much thought and care went into every detail of the space. The treehouse perfectly blends rustic charm with modern luxury – the kitchen was thoughtfully equipped, the living area was warm and cozy, and every inch felt both intentional and inviting. The king bedroom was a peaceful haven, with nature quite literally becoming part of the experience thanks to the beautiful sliding glass doors. Waking up to the forest view and stepping onto our own private deck and spa sanctuary was surreal. It truly felt like our own secluded escape from the world. Our kids loved the upstairs loft – it had plenty of room and fun touches like the hidden puzzles and games inside the coffee table.

We enjoyed our stay. The treehouse was nice and had nice amenities. We really enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings and sitting out on the deck. I would definitely watch the video that Seth sends with the directions. The GPS does not take you to the right place and the signage is not clear. We enjoyed hiking and kayaking at Beavers Bend State Park. Its very nice with lots to do.

Our stay at Broken Bow was okay. Unfortunately, we arrived and had to wait for the code to enter, even after arriving an hour after our check-in time. We were also disappointed that there was no olive oil and that the salt and pepper had not been restocked. When we arrived the place was very dusty and didn't feel like it was adequately cleaned. Little things were frustrating, like the very small kitchen seating area, light fixtures that were very unclear on how to operate, the Firepit was filled with trash, and multiple pieces of furniture were just broken, for example, the bedside table upstairs. There were some nice moments upstairs in the loft, except when you had to move the ladder anytime you wanted to enter or leave the cabin. The surrounding area was fun and had a lot of cute places. The grill worked well. It was nice having some games to play upstairs, but the outdoor games are either broken or a mess. Overall I don't recommend staying here, but Broken Bow was nice!

Life can be nonstop and sometimes you just need to put your foot down to find some peace of mind and escape from the constant responsibilities. That’s exactly what our family did and we found a great spot in the process. Literally last minute, we made the way from Texas to Oklahoma for much needed rest. Seth & Jason’s Wanderlust was exactly what we needed. From the beginning communication to arrival to checkout, there is no part of our time that wasn’t valued and addressed for the perfect getaway. We arrived late at night but were overjoyed from the moment we entered our very own treehouse for the weekend. The layout is wonderfully designed, the comfy memory bed provided a great nights sleep (and maybe a nap or two), along with plentiful towels, games to enjoy, and a hot tub to relieve all your stress. Can’t recommend this place enough or its hosts who have this thing down to a science. Thank you so much!

Just book it! This place is amazing! super clean and felt just like home. I'm very particular on homes being clean and always check every space before settling in and I can tell you that this home passed my clean list for sure. Hot tub was well kept and clean. Bed was comfy and cozy. Kitchen was stocked for a quick meal and shower was squeaky clean. Parking is super easy. I did not have time to enjoy the fire pit but they're stocked on wood for next time. Definitely booking again.

I absolutely love this place!! So very beautiful inside and out! Really enjoyed the fire pit and the hot tub! I’m ready to go back. We absolutely loved our time here. We were looking for a cabin to get away and have a low key stay. The house came with so many great amenities like games, puzzles, hot tub and others. The kitchen has everything you would need to cook. We grilled out one night and the grill was great, very clean! Would highly recommend any of our friends and family to stay here.

The treehouse was a perfect place for us to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. Seth was an excellent communicator, and went above and beyond with check in/out and any questions we had in between. We had planned on having a relaxing weekend, and this place was exactly what we needed. The cabin is decorated and furnished beautifully. The location is picturesque. We were truly are up in the trees. My favorite part was drinking coffee, watching the sunrise while sitting in the hot tub on the deck. We didn’t utilize the loft area as the only way up and down is by ladder. We did check it out, and it is very cozy. I’ve stayed in many cabins in Broken Bow over the years, but this one definite ranks up there as one of my favorites. I highly recommend.
